It’s a big old thumb. And that’s about the extent of it. Standing 40-feet tall and made of bronze, this structure – produced by César Baldaccini and modelled on his own thumb – is open to interpretation. You’ll find it in the business district of Paris and it sticks out, literally, against all of its shiny surroundings.
