Bees

Known for producing delicious honey, these tiny creatures play a key role in the functioning of the ecosystem on Earth. They are responsible for the transport of pollen from flower to flower, encouraging pollination and consequently a new generation of plants. Life would have no plants, flowers, trees, and fruits without bees doing their handiwork. Despite this, bee populations have declined by up to 80% in some parts of the world, causing a major threat to life as we know it today.
