6 – Schindler’s List – 1993

Schindler’s List is a 1993 American film based on the novel Schindler’s Ark by Australian novelist Thomas Keneally. It was directed and co-produced by Steven Spielberg using Steven Zaillan’s script. The film shows us a period of Oskar Schindler’s life, a German businessman who saved the lives of a thousand Polish jews during the Holocaust, employing them as workers in his factories. The main roles are played by Liam Neeson as Schindler, Ralph Fiennes as the SS officer Amon Göth, and Ben Kingsley as the Jewish accountant, Itzhak Stern.
