26 – Saving Private Ryan – 1998

Saving Private Ryan is a 1998 American war film. It is set during the Normandy Invasion during the Second World War. It was directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Robert Rodat. The film is known for its realistic recreation of the war, especially in the intense first 27 minutes of the film, which shows the soldiers disembarking and the allied invasion of Omaha beach on 6th June 1994. It is a coproduction between DreamWorks Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Amblin Entertainment and Mutual Film Company.
