12 – Forrest Gump – 1994

Forrest Gump is a 1994 American film. It’s based on the book of the same name by the writer Winston Groom. It was directed by Robert Zemeckis and the film stars Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise and Sally Field. The film tells the story of Forrest Gump throughout several decades of his life. He is a character who suffers from a light intellectual disability, something that doesn’t stop him from being a prime witness, and in some cases a decisive actor, to many of the most important moments in US history during the second half of the 20th century.
