7. The Gripping End

This photo taken by Wei Fu in Thailand is another example of the brutality that exists in nature. This snake grabbed its prey, a gecko, which caught the attention of Wei Fu, who could hear it hissing whilst it tried to free itself from the lethal grip. Unfortunately, it was unable to resist and after 5 or so minutes, it died. Wei Fu left her house to take photos of birds when she found herself infront of this troublesome scene. In the end, the photo won the award in the Animal Behaviour category.
