5. Blue Mustang, Denver Airport

Talk about a warm welcome! This monument of a great blue horse rearing on its hind legs greets arrivals by looking down at them with his piercing red eyes/lasers. Locals have nicknamed him “Blucifer”, and he certainly is a force to be reckoned with … He killed his creator, Luis Jiménez, when part of the 9,000-pound structure detached and crushed the poor sculptor to death. Best to give Blucifer a wide berth.
