Not only are there references to past movies, but we even get a glimpse of what’s in store. Okay, it’s a snippet, but we love the link. In a scene from Ratatouille where Remy manages to escape, he gets a fright when he sees the shadow of a dog, and that shadow looks suspiciously like the outline of the loveable Dug from Up, which didn’t come out until two years later!
