39 – The Lion King – 1994

The Lion King is an animated film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. Its Walt Disney Animation´s 32nd film produced during the Disney Renaissance period. It tells us the story of Simba, a young lion exiled from his home following his fathers death, by his uncle Scar who siezes his place at the throne. With the help of his friends and wisdom gained from his father, Simba decides to return to reclaim his place in the kingdom. The film was released 15th June 1994 and received a magnificent welcome from critics. It was highly praised for its music, storyline and animation.
