7. Oxyride Racer

Have you ever wondered how many AA batteries you’d need to run a car? 194 to be exact, according to the group of Japanese guys behind the Oxyride Racer. The car can reach speeds of up to 120km/h which makes it more than suitable for the motorway. Unfortunately, we’re not so confident we’d be able to fit inside it, let alone get into the necessary uncomfortable-looking position. Nor does it appear to be very eco-friendly.
