6. Joan Smalls – 4.5 millon dollars

This Puerto Rican model, as well as modelling for Victoria’s Secret, is a psychologist and paved her own way in the world of fashion. In 2011 she became the first Latin American model to represent Estée Lauder cosmetics. She was also the first woman of colour to appear in Chanel advertisements. Interesting fact: She learned how to model watching fashion programmes on TV and at the age of 13 she began to participate in modelling competitions, which she never won.
