Max Verstappen is a Belgian-Dutch racing driver and the 2021 Formula One World Champion. As of the 2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Verstappen has achieved 22 victories and 14 pole positions. In 2021 Verstappen was voted the most popular Formula One driver in an official survey. In 2022, after winning the F1 World Championship, Verstappen was named Laureus Sportsman of the Year.
