One of the most recognisable delicacies from China. It can be prepared with chicken, duck, quail. The recipe is to keep it in clay for many months (not for a century, anyway). Once the months pass by, it’s ready to eat!
It looks delish! The yolk turns green and sticky, it exudes a pleasant sulfur or ammonia aroma, and the egg white gets tinted of a translucent black. You ever see this really old movie “Aliens”?
