He Was First to Pull a Face Turn

The Dragon Ball saga has a long history of face turns: of evil characters becoming good guys. As always, Krillin was top of his game and the first character to do this. As kids, Krillin was Goku’s rival. Both of them studied under the tutelage of Master Roshi and Krillin would often resort to trickery and mischief to outsmart Goku. The two eventually became friends and Krillin’s good side surfaced. He’s been a goodie ever since.
