Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is a country in Central Asia which is comprised of twelve provinces, an autonomous republic and its capital, Tashkent. Uzbekistan is home to six terrestrial ecoregions: the Alai-Western Tian Shan steppe, the Gissaro-Alai open woodlands, the Badghyz and Karabil semi-desert, the Central Asian northern desert, the Central Asian riparian woodlands, and the Central Asian southern desert. The country has great potential for tourism thanks to several historical, archeological and natural treasures.
