Here we are talking about one of the best preserved burial sites ever discovered in England which also contains the largest collection of artefacts from the 7th century. It is formed by 19 mounds and one of them is the burial site of a 7th century king. Beside him, artifacts such as drinking horns, swords, helmets and ceremonial masks were also found. Due to the high level of grave robbing in medieval England, places like this are a find. Excavations continue to the present day.
