Sofia Balbi and Luis Suarez

Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez aren’t just teammates, they’re also friends. It might be because they share similar romantic backstories. Luis was in a relationship with Sofia Balbi in Uruguay, but her parents moved out to Barcelona and their romance ended. However, the Holland Groningen got Luis in their sights, and the first thing he did was to call her up and tell her he was moving to Europe. She went to pick him up from the airport, and he asked her to not go back home but to stay in Holland to live with him. They got married in 2009, and have three kids.
