Sukuna, also known as Ryomen Sukuna, is a central antagonist in the anime and manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a powerful cursed spirit from ancient times, known as the “King of Curses” and revered as a god of calamity. Sukuna possesses immense strength and cursed energy, making him one of the most formidable beings in the series. He is infamous for his cruelty, ruthlessness, and insatiable thirst for power and destruction. Despite being sealed away in fragments within Yuji Itadori’s body, Sukuna occasionally manifests and takes control, wreaking havoc on his surroundings. However, he also harbors his own agenda, seeking to regain his full power and wreak havoc upon the world once more. Throughout Jujutsu Kaisen, Sukuna serves as a recurring antagonist and a constant threat to the protagonists, including Yuji and the members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. His presence adds tension and urgency to the series’ conflicts, as the characters must contend with both human and cursed adversaries to protect the world from Sukuna’s malevolent influence.
